Introducing FlintCORE Platform – The Swiss Army Knife of IoT and Cloud Data – One Platform. Any Device. Any Data Source.

FlintCORE Platform

Geneva, February 23rd, 2026

Today, we are launching the FlintCORE Platform, an AI-native solution to manage IoT and cloud data.

We started working on this new product in 2021.

The initial goal was straightforward: build a device management platform flexible enough to support any IoT device, regardless of radio technology or communication protocol.

Several of our largest customers pushed us in this direction: they were already using OrbiWAN for LoRaWAN, but they wanted the same quality of device and user management across all their IoT technologies.

Internally, we called this product “DMP” — Device Management Platform.

Early in the project, two significant developments shaped its direction.

First, deep neural networks and large language models were becoming practical, and we believed they could fundamentally change how IoT systems — and software more broadly — are built and used. So rather than bolt AI on later, we designed FlintCORE from the ground up to work with these technologies. That decision defines what the platform is today.

Second, early customer feedback made it clear that powerful dashboarding and graphics capabilities were not nice-to-have features, but essential elements of the platform.

In 2024, we released version 1.0 of the platform to selected key customers as a full IoT management solution.

Interestingly, some of those customers started using the platform also for data sources other than IoT devices, for example, for websites, ERP systems and files.

Today, The FlintCORE platform, at its 1.5 release, is a comprehensive solution to manage IoT deployments and cloud data. AI capabilities are natively integrated in all key aspects of the solution.

We believe that the FlintCORE platform will finally make it possible also for people who do not have extensive knowledge of the solution or a programming background, to extract useful insight from their IoT data and make meaningful improvements to the activities they are responsible for.

This is especially significant in many large organizations, where, in our experience, IoT deployments are fragmented in many “silos” each with specialized personnel that understands how to use tools for just a particular purpose, with the result that the available IoT data is vastly underutilized.

Here, the FlintCORE Platform can provide a unified environment, also accessible to non-technical personnel, to help those organizations make the most of their IoT data.

A few words on the platform name “FlintCORE”: we looked for a name that could reflect both the flexibility of the product (“the Swiss Army knife of IoT and Cloud data”) and the fact that the product has AI at its core.
We thought of “flintcore” since flint has been the ultimate flexible tool for most of our species’ evolution and flint, i.e. silicon and silicon dioxide, is the core material for electronics and current AI hardware.

If you would like to see how FlintCORE can bring your IoT and cloud data together in one intelligent platform, we would be happy to start a conversation.
